We come at you with the top 5 things you should avoid doing in the week leading up to your photo session or days prior!
These are all from experience! Not just once - we see this happen time and time again! We always do our best to manage and while these things don't bother us personally, it does affect how you will look in your images and therefore affects how much you like them.
Number 5:
Buying a new outfit and shoes without moving around in them to see how if you like how you look in various positions & more importantly that you feel comfortable wearing them for an hour or more.
Number 4:
Doing an extreme activity or sport where the chances of you hurting yourself or breaking something is larger than the regular chances you face on a day to day basis lol There is always the day after your session!
Number 3:
Trying out new skin care or makeup products! Do this more than a month, aim for even 2 or 3 months before but do not do this in the week leading up to your session. The potential breakout is not worth it!!!!
Number 2:
Getting a Haircut. This is #2 for a very big reason. Do not switch it up in the same MONTH as your session. In the chance you don't like how it looks you will hate your pictures. You will be uneasy the entire session and we cannot Photoshop you a new hair cut :/ We hate to tell you what to do, but just dooooont do it, its better to be safe than sorry! I promise!!!!
Number 1:
Going to the Beach WITHOUT sunscreen!!! We live in Florida. I GET IT. We wont tell you not to go the beach. BUT PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE wear sunscreen. PLEEEEEAASSSEEEE!!!!
If you are on vacation schedule your session at the very beginning or just wear and reapply sunscreen until then!
We want you to love your images and not second guess the little things! Especially if they can be mitigated!
We hope this helps!!!
-XO Ashlie
